Puppies should start vaccines at 6-8 weeks of age or when they are weaned from nursing. When they stop nursing they are getting no antibodies from their mother. They should have a series of 4 visits total and each visit should be 3 weeks apart.
First Visit (6-8 weeks):
Physical Examination (checks for overall health, size, and any birth defects)
Fecal Floatation and Fecal Direct testing (checks for intestinal parasites and any bacterial issues that puppies are very common for)
After completing the physical examination and Fecal testing, and the doctor has concluded your puppy is nice and healthy we will proceed with the following:
Distemper, Hepatits, Parainfluenza, Parvo Virus, and Corona Virus Vaccine
First Deworming will be given
First dose of Heartworm Prevention will be given
First dose of Flea Prevention will be applied

Second Puppy Visit (9-11 weeks)
Pysical examination to determine growth and development of your puppy is proper.
Fecal Examination will be repeated, if your puppy needed treatment from the first visit. This is to ensure we have resolved any intestinal issues your puppy may have had.
Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptosporosis, Parainfluenza, Parvo Virus, and Corona Virus vaccine
Second deworming will be administered
Heartworm preventative will be given
Flea preventative will be given
We will cover how to take care of your puppies teeth
Third Puppy Visit (12-15 weeks):
Physical examination to continue monitoring growth & development
Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptosporosis, Parainfluenza, Parvo Virus, and Corona Virus vaccine
Third deworming will be administered
Heartworm prevention will be administered
Flea preventative will be applied
We will cover how to take care of your puppies ears and skin
Fourth Puppy Visit (16-18 weeks):
Physical examination to assess continued growth and development
Parvo Virus & Corona Virus vaccine
Bordatella vaccine
Rabies vaccine
We will prescribe & send home 6 months of heartworm and flea preventative to last you until your dogs next check up.
